I was at a scene at the comic book store, in a purple jacket, sitting on the couch between Jim and Johnny, while Simon and Kunal were singing this silly song in their little band. I laugh hysterically. genuinely. And they used it. And this was the scene we were filming when ET was watching us, and I remember sitting there thinking, “My divorce is about to be announced now.”
It’s good to hear that on one of the most difficult days in Kaley Cuoco’s life, she was able to find some solace by laughing at her co-stars’ performance. It’s hard to even comprehend what kind of pressure the Emmy nominee was feeling at the time, and I can’t think of a better way for her to find relief amid the ordeal.

I just remember the backstage drama, but filming this scene was a really great escape.
Ryan Sweeting and Kaley Cuoco met in 2013, and three months after they started dating, they announced their engagement. Twenty-one months after their wedding in December 2013, they announced that they had mutually filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. The divorce announcement came after Cuoco made positive public statements about their marriage just days before (via People), which probably made the news shocking to some.
